Cheque Presentation

Last night the Mayor of Westhoughton Cllr Gillian Wroe presented a grant cheque of £500, on behalf of Westhoughton Town Council, to members of the ‘Howfen Wakes’ Committee.

The money will be used towards the planned ‘Party in the Park’ in August, the group’s first event.

The Council appreciates the hard work that goes into organising such events so we wish them every success in this exciting new event in Westhoughton.
