Magnificence of Mayors

The Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Westhoughton, Cllr Gillian Wroe and Cllr Sarita Chohan, attended the Mayor of Bolton’s Charity Ball last Friday night. Cllr Wroe writes:

‘I have received the group photo of all the civic leaders who attended the Mayor of Bolton’s Charity Ball. We all gathered on the steps at the Town Hall whilst the photographer balanced on a tall step ladder; supported by two people of course.

In the photo are the Mayors, Mayoresses and Consorts of every borough or city in Greater Manchester plus the three town councils.

Congratulations to Cllr David and Mrs Val Chadwick for collecting such an impressive ‘Magnificence of Mayors’, colloquially known as ‘The Chain Gang’, in one place!’
