Funeral of Cllr David Chadwick

Today as the Mayor of Westhoughton, Councillor Sarita Chohan attended Councillor David Chadwick’s funeral on behalf of Westhoughton Town Council.

Cllr Chohan writes “A very sad day for Westhoughton as we say goodbye to our colleague, Councillor David Chadwick.

Today, we gathered at St Bartholomew’s Church for David’s funeral, where the church was filled to the brim with people who came together to pay their respects and honour his memory. It was a heartfelt reflection of the impact he had on so many people.

It is never easy to say goodbye to a colleague, and our thoughts are very much with David’s family and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.

On behalf of Westhoughton, we extend our sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies to his family. May they find comfort in the love, support and many fond memories shared by all those whose lives David touched.

Rest in peace, David. You will be sadly missed.”
