Mini Police Celebration Event

Mayor of Westhoughton Councillor Sarita Chohan writes:

“It was a pleasure to attend the Mini Police Celebration Event held at Bolton Wanderers FC accompanied by my Consort, Rishi.

Before the presentation, the children—made up of teams from nine schools across the Bolton Borough—enjoyed a fantastic behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium, making the day even more memorable.

The highlight of the event was seeing each child proudly receive a certificate in recognition of their hard work, commitment and achievements as part of the Mini Police programme. It was wonderful to see so many proud parents and grandparents there to cheer them on, creating a truly special atmosphere.

A huge thank you to the dedicated Police team for their continued support and encouragement throughout the project. Their commitment to inspiring young people and building positive relationships within our communities is greatly appreciated.

Rishi and I were especially proud to support the wonderful children from Westhoughton's own The Gates Primary School , who represented our town so brilliantly.

Congratulations to every one of the children on your fantastic achievement. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves—well done!”
