Adlington Town Coucil Mayor’s Civic Sunday

Mayor of Westhoughton Councillor Sarita Chohan writes:

“It was a privilege to attend the Civic Ceremony of the Mayor of Adlington Councillor Alison Rothwell, and her Consort, Ron Oultram.

The service was held in the lovely St Paul's Church and was followed by a reception and the town's annual Citizen Award Ceremony, celebrating those who make such a positive difference within the community.

It was wonderful to be joined by fellow dignitaries, including the Mayor of Chorley, Councillor Debra Platt and her Consort Alan Platt, Horwich Town Council Mayor , Councillor Kevin McKeon and his Mayoress Irene McKeon, as well as my amazing Deputy Mayor, Councillor Linda Maher.

We had a lovely morning in Adlington, filled with friendship, community spirit, and celebration.

Thank you for your warm hospitality. I would like to wish Mayor Alison Rothwell and her Consort, Ron Oultram, every success and happiness during their Mayoral year. I know you will both serve the people of Adlington with great dedication and pride.
