The Great British Spring Clean Part 2
It was a wet and rather cold Sunday morning for the second litter pick, at Chorley Rd/Dicconson Lane, organised by Westhoughton Town Council as part of the Great British Spring Clean national campaign.
A big thank you to everyone who came out to brave the weather and offer their help.
Joining Cllrs Linda Maher, David Wilkinson, Gillian Wroe, John McHugh and Martin Tighe were local residents Brian, Lynne, John, Steve, Vicky and her daughter Katie.
22 bags were collected together with a traffic cone, 2 wheel trims and a heavy piece of metal.
