Senior Solutions Visit

On Monday (16th) The Mayor of Westhoughton visited Senior Solutions based at Winifred Kettle House:

‘Senior Solutions invited me to a Befriending Brunch for their clients and volunteers who do not usually attend their regular groups. It was an opportunity them to come together and find new friends.

Befrienders are volunteers who visit individuals in their own homes for regular companionship, offering a friendly face and conversation over a cuppa.

The befriending service is just one of the wonderful services that Senior Solutions offer our senior citizens to help reduce social isolation, strengthen community connections and support their wellbeing.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with all of those present and, as always, I’m pleased to support and highlight the work of this brilliant organisation.’
