New Networking Group

Today (1st April) the Mayor was invited to Brookfield Hall for the launch of a new business networking group in Westhoughton. Cllr Gillian Wroe writes:

‘I was pleased to be able to attend the first session of this group, part of the global Business Networking International organisation, which has several established groups in the UK. This is the first time that Westhoughton has started its own branch, set up by the inspirational Jen Harrison and Peter Gray.

It was both interesting and fascinating to hear how the group, made up of a variety of 25 businesses, will be able to share ideas, make new contacts and build their businesses to become more successful and profitable. I was sorry that I couldn’t stay for the full morning as I had another engagement.

I wish them well in this new venture and look forward to hearing more from them in the future.’
