The Great British Spring Clean Part 3

Today, Saturday, was another beautiful sunny day for the third of Westhoughton Town Council’s community litter picks as part of The Great British Spring Clean. The location was near to Snydale Way, the original target for today, but as it had been cleared by Bolton Council the volunteers concentrated on Manchester Rd from Chequerbent Roundabout towards the White Horse junction. The group comprised of Cllrs David Wilkinson, Alison Jackson and Linda Maher with residents Bill, John, Shellie, Vicky and daughter Katie. A total of 13 bags, 6 gas cylinders and a wheel trim were collected. Thank you to everyone for today’s efforts.
