Matilda at St Bartholowmew’s

“Wow, what can I say. How privileged we were tonight as Deputy Mayor and consort to attend the end of year production of Matilda, performed by the very talented, confident and passionate children of St. Bartholomew’s primary school in Westhoughton. Everyone involved the staff, the parents for their support and encouragement and all the children should be extremely proud of their achievement tonight and they are going to do it all again tomorrow . The acting, singing and stage presence was fantastic, hard to believe these were primary school children. We thoroughly enjoyed it and you all deserved the standing ovation . A big well done. Thank you to the Headmaster Mark Johns for the invitation.”
