Bolton Wanderers Win!

“A huge privilege to attend the Bolton Wanderers Football Club Civic Reception following their fantastic promotion to the Championship after their victory at Wembley.

It was an honour to welcome and celebrate with the team as the heroes they truly are. The atmosphere in Victoria Square was electric as fans gathered with immense pride to welcome the team home. Flares, speeches, chants and songs filled the square, making it a truly unforgettable day of celebration.

A huge thank you to Bolton Town Council for organising such a fabulous celebration for the club and the community.

Alongside the stars of the day — the incredible BWFC team — I was delighted to share the celebrations with Mayor of Bolton Cllr Mohammed Iqbal, Mayor of Blackrod Cllr Richard Harrison and Mayoress Sarah Harrison, Mayor of Horwich Cllr Kevin McKeon and Mayoress Irene McKeon, my son Parthiv, and fellow councillors.
