Bench Replaced at Church Street

Written by Cllr Neil Maher, Mayor of Westhoughton, “Street and park benches are a valued and well used community asset in the town.  However, a number of benches are in need of repair or replacement. We have approached Bolton with regards to this, but their resources are stretched. I am pleased to see the first of these has been installed on Church Street. I would like to thank one of our residents, who wishes to remain anonymous, for their contribution to the funding of the next bench in the process of being replaced.”
