Rose & Crown Re-Opening

Mayor of Westhoughton Councillor Sarita Chohan writes:

“Pubs are at the heart of our community. It is about so much more than simply “going for a pint”.

Over the years, the pubs that have survived have evolved and adapted into welcoming spaces where family and friends can come together, socialise and create memories.

It was a true privilege to officially reopen the Rose & Crown tonight. I had the honour of cutting the ceremonial ribbon alongside my consort Rishi Chohan and fellow councillors.

I would like to wish the new Manager Ray Lester and Proper Pubs Area Manager Derek Cooper every success in this exciting new venture.

If you have never been down to the Rose & Crown, it is certainly worth a visit… and you never know, the Mayor of Westhoughton may even pull you a pint.”
