Mayor’s Charity Ball

On Saturday the Mayor of Westhoughton, Cllr Gillian Wroe, held her ‘Mayor’s Charity Ball’ at Brookfield Hall, Westhoughton. She would like to share this fantastic news:

‘After the invoices have been paid for the costs of the event I’m absolutely thrilled to announce that the total raised on the night is £1,498.33! Thank you to everyone who contributed in any way to make the evening such an enjoyable and profitable event.

The money will go into the Charity Account with the £769.89 from my ‘Mayor’s Oompah Night’ last year.

Before I finish as Mayor in May all money in the account will be paid to my two chosen charities, Westhoughton Assist Service and The Hoggery.’
