Defibrillator Training

For the third year running Westhoughton Town Council has held free defibrillator training for members of the public. This years sessions were held on Tuesday evening, 24th February and Saturday Morning, 28th February.

The training was led by Trevor Williams from the North West Ambulance Service with 40 people attending across the two session.

The Town Mayor, Cllr Gillian Wroe introduced Trevor explaining that the aim of the training is to give the attendees the knowledge and confidence to perform CPR and use a defibrillator.
