Howfen Radio Gets the Mayor’s Mike Time!

Written by Cllr Gillian Wroe, Mayor of Westhoughton ‘Today, the 22nd July, I was invited as Mayor of Westhoughton to Howfen Radio to talk about various projects and events that are coming up in Westhoughton. My hosts for the radio programme were Mick and Sue, who made me feel very welcome.

Mick and I had conversations, in between the music, about all things Westhoughton. Anything from the history of the Mayoral chain to the various wonderful groups putting on events and the projects that Westhoughton Town Council are planning or supporting.
